Bio - Sceptic Overseas

My name is Niall. I’ve always wanted to follow a more unconventional path through life, but like many people with no athletic or artistic talent I fell into a fairly predictable series of decisions and commitments: school, university, work. Since childhood, I’ve been interested in seeing other parts of the world, particularly if they turned out to be similar to Herge’s portrayal of them in the Tintin books. They are eminently not; however, that hasn’t deterred me from exploring them.

After becoming disillusioned with working in a rigid office environment I bought a one way ticket, handed in my notice and moved out of my flat.

To complete my matrix of self-indulgence, I started a blog with the intention of having an outlet to document my observations along the way. So, here it is.
